Sue Lewak is Director of Programs at the John Hughes Institute, where she brings over two decades of teaching, leadership, and administrative experience in higher education. Honored with multiple awards for her teaching, Sue has taught a wide range of undergraduate courses in literature and film, and has held a number of roles in higher ed administration, ranging from academic advising to the strategic integration of digital technologies in the classroom.
As Director of Programs, Sue specializes in the development and planning of remote and hybrid education programs for global universities and colleges across the U.S., Canada, and Malaysia. Her work focuses on enhancing curricula in VFX and computer animation by integrating emerging technologies to supplement existing academic offerings. She also offers educational consulting through JHI Pathways.
Sue has a Ph.D. in English Literature from the Department of English at UCLA.
