Subhajit Sarkar
Subhajit Sarkar is the Senior Development Producer at M2 Animation. He is also the Executive Producer at KARMA VFX Studios.
For ten years, Subhajit was the Manager of the Lighting Department at Rhythm & Hues (R&H) Studio where he had the opportunity to be part of the team that worked on The Golden Compass (2007) and Life of Pi (2012), both of which won the Oscar for Best VFX. During his time at R&H, he also worked on films such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Avengers: End Game, and Black Panther.
Over his 20 years in the industry, Subhajit has worked with a number of studios. He was previously an Executive Producer with JustFX Studios, GelaroGrace Studio, and BFX CGI. He was also Head of Production VFX/CG Contiloe Pictures Pvt Ltd, Director of Operations & Academics at Huge Academy of Visual Arts, Senior Producer at SupernovaFX Studios, a Line Producer with Method Studios, a Talent Acquisition Manger and Sequence Producer with Prime Focus World, and Head of Production with RIVA Animation & VFX.
Subhajit received his B.S. in Business/Commerce from Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad. He also has a Diploma in VFX and Animation from Edit Institute.
