Jon Meier

Jon Meier is a specialist in Virtual Narrative Consulting and Supervision. His work in the entertainment industry includes Tau Films, Sony Pictures Imageworks, MPC, Blur Studio, Rhythm & Hues, and Digital Domain. He was also an Epic Games Unreal Engine (UE) Fellow (2020). 


Jon has supervised lighting and environments on award-winning feature films, including Life of Pi (2012) and Happy Feet (2006) at Rhythm & Hues Studios. He also worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks (SPI) on Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) and at MPC for the feature film Jungle Book (2016), winner of the Oscar for Best Visual Effects in 2017.
