David Breaux (pronounced "bro") is a Senior Animator at ILM Imersive. He has over 20+ years of experience as a working artist, animator, animation supervisor, and educator in the entertainment industry (in film, games, television, commercials, and music videos). He specializes in character performance, lip sync, and creature behavioral animation, and is a character and creature animator (film, games, VR / AR, music videos and commercials). He is also a character and creature designer, illustrator, CG modeler, sculptor, mold maker, wood carver (and even does a little rigging for animation), while continuing to pursue his love of storytelling, characters, and sculpture.
David also participated in the full time six-week Epic Games Pilot Fellowship, which was designed to help experienced industry professionals understand the state of art in virtual production, and be able to build teams using leading technologies and techniques in the emerging field of real-time production. He produced the UE4 short, Hunter Hunted for the fellowship.
David has a BFA in Illustration from The Columbus College of Art & Design.
