CMP 101: Basics of Compositing I (30 hrs.)

This hands-on course will cover the principles and elements of compositing theory and practice. You will learn the techniques of background preparation, node-based workflows, paint nodes and mattes, channels, and rendering using Nuke. This course will also cover the theory behind compositing operations.

Prerequisites: STL 120

CMP 201: Basics of Compositing II (30 hrs.)

This intermediate course in compositing will cover more advanced topics in compositing for finished footage for animation and VFX projects. You will gain additional experience in using channels/nodes in Nuke to create and render a final project for your compositing portfolio.

Prerequisites: STL 120, CMP 101
